Blackspur SD500

Price: £11.75 Voltage: 3.6 volts

A Torch-like shape means this driver would struggle to fit in some of the awkward spots found on a car, and we didn’t like the long seven-hour recharge. But press the trigger and the unit certainly feels lively enough, and it fared well in our torque tests. We found battery lifeto be pretty good, too. Blackspur includes 29 bits and eight ¼-inch drive sockets in the kit. The downside is that these extras are noticeably poorer quality than accessories supplied with other sets here.
