With Bentley build quality, the Maglite is a classy product. It was one of the top performers, delivering a widely adjustable beam and a good spread of bright light, and we didn’t encounter any problems after the drop test, either. The drilled aluminium body offers decent levels of grip, and all components
slot together with military precision. We would have preferred a power button to its twist switch, and it was costly compared to the winning Duracell, but it’s still a worthy Recommended buy.
