At seven inches, the Clarion’s display is big, and as with the Alpine and JVC, it read all sorts of CD music, plus DVDs and camcorder input. Some controls were from the touchscreen and others from normal buttons. Close to the Alpine in many respects, and iPod fans will love the great display – but they’ll need the £35 cable.
