Entry-level propane space-heaters such as this are excellent for draughty, free-standing workshops. This one’s highly respectable 35,000 BTU output made our test garage toasty warm in less than three minutes but, as with Draper’s 65953, there’s no form of thermostat built in. In a standard garage, this unit is a bit much – especially as it’s noisy and the exiting hot air requires plenty of space to avoid scorching anything.
