Patience is needed with Challenge’s High Performance Compressor. On the plus side, the pump was one of the best here – it took 57 seconds to add 10psi – while the gauge was 0.5psi out at 20psi and on the button at 30psi. Include a removable torch and you’d think this was a winner. But the storage is really poor – too small and very fiddly. Add in a valve connector that was hard to use, and it dropped out of contention.
