Available as a package, the TomTom Navigator suited the Treo perfectly, as the screen and interface are exactly like the stand-alone units. It was simple to use, with selectable screen information and clear pictograms of the next turning. All our sample postcodes were listed, and the zoom-to-junction feature was easily the best on test. POIs were a mixed bag, though. Some came up in good numbers, but again the results for hotels and restaurants were chain-linked. And as with TomTom's GO 510 portable device, it showed a roundabout that wasn't there.
