Offering the joint-largest scale with the Philip’s Navigator, this atlas had great details, and showed every lane, byway and hamlet. So it was irritating that it got our test junction wrong. Still, the speed trap locations were very accurate, including those devices on the M25. But while it was priced well, Close-Up Britain could have done with more town plans – you get only 44, which is disappointing.
