BEST BUY - A miserly equipment tally got the Maplin off to an inauspicious start. The case wasn’t exactly crammed with goodies – you get the jack, the manual handle and the fuses. But at this price, with carriage included, we have no complaints. The jack was conventional, with a 50mm saddle and a lifting range of 11-35cm. And even though it had a maximum capacity of only one tonne, it performed as well as its rivals. Add a few extras and it would still be cheap, so this kit is a worthy Best Buy.
