The pivot moves so loosely on this tool that you would expect loads of play at the ends of the jaws; in fact, there isn't any at all. Despite appearances, the well shaped plastic handles aren't hard, giving good results even with oily hands. This is a decent all-rounder, which only loses points for a lack of a rounded jaw opening and an unsprung pivot.
