Traditional and extremely well built sums up the Brennestuhl. The 60-watt bayonet bulb is housed inside a splashproof glass jar surrounded by a tough metal cage. The handle doubles as a heavily sprung clamp, complete with soft pivoting edges to prevent damage to the delicate surfaces. It's just a pity there's no power switch or reflector.
