Despite being designed specifically for car use, this struggled with ground-in dirt. It removed the twigs and leaves with little fuss, but after four minutes had failed to shift grit embedded in the carpet. It was noisy, too, yet on the plus side it is keenly priced, comes in a handy carry bag and has a five-metre cord.
