The rough finish on these spanners reminded us of a time when if you wanted a tool to last, you had to buy a premium brand. The loading tests backed this feeling up. The 14mm ring snapped before the 100Ib/ft mark, although the 10mm ring went well past it. Unfortunately, when it did finally go, it shattered.
