Heavyweight rubber and impressively thick carpet sections meant these high-quality mats sailed through our wear and stain tests. The range comprises only two sizes for all makes and models, which could explain why we had problems getting them to fit in our Golf. They barely reached past the pedals and the cut lines were difficult to trim. As a result, it's difficult to justify such a hefty price.
