On this budget offering, the protective patches of carpet are situated away from the prime wear areas under the heel. Cut lines moulded into the rubber meant we could get a good fit and the mats extended up behind the pedals. Sadly, the carpet was clearly marked from the wear test, and there was evidence of our greasy concoction even after cleaning.
