Draper 88068

Price: £139 (cordless)

Claimed maximum torque: 192.8lb/ft

Smaller and better-looking than its all-conquering Best Buy stablemate, the 88068 still packs a punch. In our torque tests, even the last nut - tightened to 120Ib/ft - spun loose relatively easily. This unit's size makes it more convenient for tight car work, but the smaller and lower-voltage batteries can't compete with the Best Buy's for stamina. Thankfully, there's also a spare.
