bought seat leon cupra when it first come out. test drove all the competition and found for my preference this was head and tail above the rest. it's fun and fast when you want it to be and refined and comfortable when the wife, child and dog are in the back. very happy with my choice and will definitely look at seat again when choosing next car.

FR550 TDi - Looks great. Masses of equipment including safety kit. Drives brilliantly and handling is fantastic. 170TDi engine fast but economical. Plenty of space inside, but although build quality is excellent (one very minor squeak which is inaudible with stereo on), the plastics could be softer feeling to give more upmarket appearance.

Great car, fantastic brakes on the Cupra model, very good engine but it would be nice if SEAT took more notice of its customers and fanbase, for example on seatcupra.net. Manufacturer supported tuning companies would be ideal, allowing the warranty to remain intact, e.g. Mountune for the Focus

A great looking practical family car, fast enough for UK traffic laws and the good handling is welcome on the country lanes. Not as economical as I was expecting from a diesel but I do have a heavy right foot and it is an automatic. The DSG gearbox is an engineering marvel.

I could have bought premium brands (A3 or 1 Series) with 1.6 litre petrol engines for the money but I have chosen performance and economy with my 2.0TDI DSG Leon. And I am really happy with my decision.
