I had a Renault Modus which I loved. I wanted a Smart Car - beware of what you wish for!!! I don't like it. It's noisy, suspension is hard, beware of pot holes or any little variance in the road. Power steering has a different meaning - wheel is HARD to turn. No clock! No niceties - this Smart car is a basic vehicle - how I miss my renault modus!! Only drawback - Modus was not as fuel efficient as I believed but I would now aim for the same model but a diesel.

Spacious, particularly for six footers. Comfortable seats, fairly upright driving position affording good driving view. Easy to get in and out of. Good fun to drive apart from a couple of quirks. Can stutter when starting off. Not always happy starting off on steep hills. Suspension too hard for our poor roads.

It does what it was designed to do and I and my wife are generally very pleased to have bought it. We also own a VW Golf Estate. Would like to sell both and buy a Honda Jaz but currently cannot get high enough bids for the 2 to finance a not too old Jaz

Small and practical and still ok on the motorway as for running around town.
Previous model and make written of in car accident, however not a scratch on me or passenger or damage to anything in the vehicle.
