Love my Rav 4 - but unfortunately Toyota no longer manufacture a three door version. Don't really want to buy a 5 door but feel there is no other option out there at the moment. Have been wanting to change my car for the last three years and can't find anything I like better that what I already have. Most people I speak to regarding a three door Rav 4 are disappointed they are no longer made.

You didn't have a category for it, but I imported this car brand new from a Toyota dealership in Denmark (right-hand drive). I saved around £7,000 on the UK price.

It has been trouble free motoring. The only downside is that the fuel consumption is not that great. Also the rear door doesn't open wide enough.

Car has surpased my expectations in ride quality, comfort, handling and economy. In fact I cannot think of one single aspect of ownership that is not top rate which is why I have kept the vehicle for so long and will be sorry to let it go. When I do I suspect that it will be for another Toyota.

Well made, robust and comfortable for the long journeys it does. Given its size it is very economical and the local Toyota dealers are easy to deal with, helpful and courteous. So so much better than our previous Renault in terms of reliability and the who ownership experience.

Never had anything major go wrong. only things replaced are the usual tyres and brakes. The price for the brakes I thought were expensive but that was because I used the main dealer to keep my warranty. the mpg is a good average for a 2.2 cc engine and for my type of driving.

2008-reg Diesel, Owner for 1 to 3 years

In 2 years, although the car is only 4 years old, I have only had to change tyres and have brake pads fitted. It is a large engined and heavy car which suits the purposes of my purchase but that doesn't stop parts like tyres etc and the genral running costs very expensive.

2011-reg Diesel, Owner for 1 to 3 years

In 12 months no problems at all. Main dealer servicing is very expensive, and on purchasing the car was told to expect 46mpg but the most I can get is 37mpg. on enquiring at dealer service dept. was told the average is in the low 30s. poor show from toyota.

Excellent reliability. even on a 15 year old car. Toyota parts are not the cheapest but luckily you do not need to replace them very oftn. Old 2 litre heavy car but still accelerates quickly enough for me.

2010-reg Diesel, Owner for less than a year

The advertising for this vehicle gives an average of 47mpg, but not achieving this. probably due to the number of hills in devon.too early to know about the price of spare parts, still under warranty.

Had an iq then a yaris now a rav.all have been impeccably reliable. Had an lpg conversion - I get 100 miles per ł10 of gas .parts and servicing are expensive at dealer.

Excellent alround has done everything I've asked of it, but a change of policy by Toyota on warranties may change my mind on if I'd buy another Toyota

No problems so far. Advertised at 47 mpg but even keeping to the legal limit on mnotorway runs, never gets better than 35 mpg !!!

Very good - no issues. Mpg could be better, but generally only short runs, so difficult to see how good at longer runs.
