I think Fiat might be looking to sue them over the "look and feel" of the 500 maybe ford might for the KA back window as well

The point of the expensive Mini and A1 is that people feel they are buying a pocket sized quality car. I just don't think a Vauxhall badge is going to cut it in this market. The Fiat 500 is a special case because it evokes the much loved Cinquecento of the 60's. But Vauxhall doesn't have this fondly remembered history. They couldn't call it a Viva really could they, without reminding us of crapness and rust! I think they would be wiser to leave it badged as an Opel, quite frankly. Even then - who needs it?

Great looking car - no doubt the top of the range - but stupid, stupid name. Even ''Nova'' would sound better to me....
