To celebrate the French supermini's 20th birthday we've gathered together the best four fast Clios from the last two decades. But which is the best?

Good things come in small packages, and never has that old adage been more true than with fast Clios over the years. Sticking to a proven formula of high-revving, naturally-aspirated engines and lively handling, some of the world's finest hot hatches have worn the Clio badge.

Our star-studded gathering includes the Clio Williams from the early nineties, the mad Clio V6, the 182 Trophy and the latest Renaultsport Clio 200. Watch as we test them back to back and decide who deserves to wear the Clio crown.
