This Aston Vantage GT4 racer was penned by designer Marek Reichmann, who raced it in the first round of Aston's one-make endurance race series at Silverstone in June, driving alongside our very own Senior Road Tester, Owen Mildenhall.

After three hours, the pair finished on the podium in third, and you can watch some of their on-track exploits, and Marek explaining his designs in the video below.

The 'X-ray' design on the car they drove was a one-off, and Auto Express gave readers the opportunity to choose the next set of race colours last month. You choose your favourite online, and the winner with 42 per cent of the votes was the mask design. It will compete in the new livery later this year.

What a pain !! rubbish not even good music played over the noise of an Aston Martin racing engine, this is the sort of thing that the limp wristed producers at the BBC do, obviously the video makers for Auto Express are of the same limp mold.
Does Auto Express not realise? that the motoring fans who are their customers want to hear engines and not irritating music over the video.
