Powered by a sophisticated 6.3-litre V8, capable of pumping a massive 520 bhp, the Mercedes C63 AMG saloon promises to be the fastest car of its kind in the world. However, when it’s launched in 2008, it won’t have everything its own way. BMW’s new M3 is expected to offer a similar level of performance, plus a seven-speed, semi-automatic gearbox.
