There are a dozen reasons to get out of the way of this Aston Martin prototype – it has a V12 engine under the bonnet!
Listen to the racecar-like exhaust note of this blue test mule and you're left in no doubt about the performance potentilal of the newcomer.
Powered by the firm’s Le Mans-derived 600bhp V12 powerplant, the baby supercar will cover 0-62mph in only four seconds and sprint from 0-100mph in 8.5 seconds.
The engine is packed full of race-bred technology, and comes equipped with a dry sump, tuned exhaust system and heavily modified mechanicals. Expect the chassis to get an extreme set-up to match.
it will have the looks to match, too. The standard Vantage has been sent on a body-building course and gets a low front spoiler, bulging wheel-arches and a bonnet covered in extra cooling vents.
However, only a few lucky customers will get their hands on an RS, because production will be strictly limited when the car goes on sale in the UK later this year.
