Porsche 911 GT3

These are the first pictures of an undisguised prototype of the new Portsche 911 GT3, the high-performance variant of the normally aspirated current 911 Carrera - not to be confused with the GT2 which is based on the current 911 Turbo.

Equipped with a manual six-speed gearbox, the 3.6-litre Boxer engine in the rear will pump a stunning 370 HP. Chassis and mechanics will be fine-tuned and should allow a top-speed of around 310 km/h. Traditionally, the interior will be quite Spartan compared to a standard Carrera.
