Mercedes-Benz V-Class

By ©Automedia

September 2002

These pictures show the new Mercedes V-class testing in the cold climate of northern Europe - together with a handful of Volkswagen Caravelles, its most serious competitor on the European market. The successor of today's MPV will be presented in late 2002. Although the car will again be available as a transporter and a full-size MPV, the new V-class will have to share the market segment with a new in-house competitor: the so-called Grand Sport Tourer basing on the next M-class will be an innovative mixture of Station Wagon, MPV and Offroader. The new V-class, however, will be much more spacious inside.
