This is the best footage yet of the new Citro

The tiny 3.60-metres city-car will be based on a shortened platform of the brand-new C3 and - contrary to its bigger brother - will offer a rear door that opens in two parts: window and frame swing to the top while the lower part of the door flips down. It is almost certain that the car will be available with three doors only.

Two petrol engines will be available from the start, a 1.1-litre 60-HP unit and a 1.4-litre engine delivering 75 HP. The 68-HP 1.4-litre Diesel will be on offer, too. Ford's automated manual gearbox will be available as an option.

Entry-level price will be around 8,500 Euros. It's anticipated that Citroen will launch an even smaller C1 a year after the C2 launch.
