Vectra Estate

With its long and high roofline, the design of the car mimics that of the Mazda 6 and Honda Accord estates in order to maximise practicality and cabin space. It is said that the new Vectra estate will offer more load-space than the Omega estate and that engineers used the Mercedes E-class as a benchmark for assessing luggage area.

Flexibility is further improved by a seating system following the principles of the FlexSpace set-up due to debut in the Meriva and soon on offer for the revised Zafira, including the 40:20:40 split seatback that has just been announced for the 2003 Zafira model range.
