The new Corsa Roadster will have a retractable steel hard top, which the maker has developed in co-operation with the French specialist Heuliez. It can be clearly seen in these photos. Despite the visible disguise, the prototype is clearly revealing the v-shaped styling and sloping front front end and the characteristic wave-like roll bars at the back.

The little sports car will be powered by a choice of various petrol engines, ranging from 1.4-litre to 1.8-litre, plus there will be a top-of-the-range 1.8-litre GSi 16-valve 125bhp version and a 2-litre diesel developing 100bhp.
