I am delighted with the car - it's has a great driving position, is very easy to drive, comfortable. It is a 4 wheel drive vehicle and proved very useful indeed during the recent snowy weather. I have had no problems with the car and therefore no reason to return to the dealer. This is my fourth VW and the only spare parts I have needed have been 2 brake lights. I have owned this car since September 2009 and have not needed a service or maintenance therefore I cannot comment on cost of servicing or tyres etc. My previous car was a VW Golf 1.9 TDi and the Tiguan is slightly more expensive to run re insurance and fuel but I expected that to be the case.

I like it and enjoy driving it with the exception of the electric handbrake which I hate! Why can't I have a proper handbrake which is where I expect it to be instead of scrabbling around on the floor trying to find it in a hurry!!
