While all brands move to more crisp designs, even Mercedes risking its timeless image and adding a lot of creases, it seems Volvo is aiming for a more sober look. Somehow looks dated, or maybe timeless? I am not sure.

I agree sadly Volvo has decided to copy the dull VW current front end look especially the S/V 60 facelift.Volvo has always done these midlife facelifts sometimes they get it right but in my opinion this time definitely NOT!!! Dull and boring.

I think Volvo should be commended for trying to create something sleek & stylish (although they've failed in my opinion). Many manufacturers are turning out simply hideous looking vehicles these days -particularly BMW - just look at the truly awful 1 series, the droopy front of the new 3 series, and Merc A class (in fact nearly all Mercs).... so good look to companies like Volvo, VW & Audi.... and Porsche they're like swans in a lake full of gargoyles.
