I drive a lot on treacherous roads in Spain.The Volvo XC90 gives a feeling of great safety and security.
On a "bad" day it makes you feel much better.Very comfortable seating.Only average space for such a big vehicle,though.
I often drive in mountainous terrain with very tight hair pin bends (in Spain). The XC90 can feel a bit unwieldy and under powered in this environment. ( A stiffer front torsion bar might help) Rubber engine mounts and steering uprights have not lasted too well (Speed bumps in Spain to blame here.) generally very pleased withthe car.

Very practical, seating 7 with luggage, very comfortable, sturdy and reliable. An excellent tow car for caravanning, great in the snow and now even speed humps dont bother me!
