It does everything really well - pan euro alpine cruiser, load lugger to the recycling centre, seven of us can go out together and all in style, safety, luxury and pretty fast too. Not the best in any one single area but competes strongly in every department. And performance in Scotland's snowy weather this year has been awesome! We love it and the dealer is fantastic - cleaning & valeting the car for no extra charge.

Hugely practical family car with extra seats for shared school runs, but unexciting to drive and let down by some minor electrical issues - and the driver door handle ceased to work. Rather surprisingly, it was completely rubbish at negotiating the recent snowy conditions: couldn't get it up my drive and had to leave it in the road. My old Honda CRV did better...

Car is very good, I use it to tow a large twin axle caravan which it does with ease. My gripe is about Volvo itself, my dealership have been pretty good but Volvo customer service must be amongst the worst I've experienced, I have owned BMW's so have something good to compare with. They are simply not interested when a vehicle is out of warranty.

Surprisingly good, and excellent in adverse conditions. Hidden rear seats a good idea, and luggage space is vast.
