Garmin i3

If small is beautiful, then the i3 is a supermodel, with a tiny 1.7-inch display. It took up barely any space - but this means a touch-screen isn't possible and the info is harder to read. Still, performance was good, and most of the bigger Garmins' features are here, including full postcode search, comprehensive directions and UK/Ireland mapping. Its 3D mode didn't work so well, but 2D was fine. And the price is great
