It may look as though it’s made of metal, but the Laser 4262 is plastic. The ergonomic shape means it sits comfortably in your hand, and the display is clear and easy to read. It offers metric and Imperial measurements, and has a range up to 25mm. Yet the reading was out by 0.4mm – the worst on test – and it chipped easily when dropped.
