THE joint cheapest here, the Rider Plus is a fairly conventional, six-tether carrier. Assembly was easy enough, and it was tightly held to the tailgate. The plastic grips and tethers on the bike arm separated our cycles well, making for few rattles. It folded down easily and nearly flat, although the slightly complicated ratchet mechanisms need car-specific settings.
