Part of the Halfords line-up, this kit provides an impressive 18 spanners for less than £25, but only half are in metric sizes – the remainder cover some of the imperial A/F spectrum. That’s useful if you work on older cars, but a waste of money if you only deal with modern machinery. A perfect sizing score was wasted when the 13mm tool failed our misuse test – it bent a long way short of the target others reached.
