TomTom has some of the best mapping software in the business, so it’s little surprise that this online route finder is a strong performer. It’s intuitive to use and the layout and buttons are similar to the firm’s sat-nav units. Live traffic info is great with icons across the map flagging up problems.
Unfortunately you can’t print off the directions to take with you; instead you get the option to send routes to any registered TomTom device. There’s only one route choice as well, but extras like a truck or scenic ‘thrill’ route are good.
