Toyota Yaris (New)
Overall Average Rating - 85.51%
Position in the Top 100 cars - 46th
In many respects these are puzzling results – not least because the Yaris finished in last year’s top 20.
Toyota promised its second-generation Yaris would be more comfortable and refined than its predecessor, but those flaws seem far from fixed.
Although sixth for running costs is good news for cash-strapped owners, 75th for ride quality and ease of driving disappoint.

Manufacturer Verdict (Position - 13th)
Last year, Toyota was in seventh, but a poor debut for the Auris sees it plummet. While 13th is still above average, bosses will want a positive reaction to the new Avensis, iQ and Urban Cruiser in 2010.
