Luxurious new Lexus IS 300h Advance announced
Luxurious Advance trim revealed, alongside more efficient hybrid engine
The new Lexus IS 300h Advance has been revealed, effectively offering buyers £3,000 worth of standard equipment for nothing.
Slotting in above the existing Luxury specification, and below the sporty F Sport, the Advance adds sat-nav, leather, heated and ventilated front seats, and a reversing camera. Prices start from £31,495, commanding a premium of £500 over the lesser Luxury trim.
All Advance models also boast front and rear parking sensors, 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic light and wipers, cruise control and dual-zone climate control. Attractive monthly payments start from £319 per month.
Elsewhere in the range, Lexus has reduced the price of its racy IS 300h F Sport by £1,000. On the road prices now start from £32,495, or £329 per month. Range-topping IS 300h Premier versions cost £36,795, and start from £369 per month.
In addition to new specs and lower prices, Lexus has also made its 2.5-litre petrol-electric hybrid drivetrain even more efficient. The basic SE model, with 16-inch alloy wheels, now emits just 97g/km of CO2 – down from 99g/km on the outgoing car. All other versions now comply with EU6 emissions regulations, which come into force in September this year.
As before, all Lexus IS models appeal directly to company car drivers, with low benefit-in-kind rates across the range. The SE starts from 14 per cent, with flagship F Sport and Premier models falling into the 16 per cent tax bracket. All models – including the well-specced IS 300h Advance – are on sale now.
