Used Nissan Leaf (Mk1, 2011-2018) review - What do owners think?

The Nissan Leaf was a strong performer in our 2019 Driver Power survey

For such an early EV, a 44th place (out of 100) in our 2019 Driver Power used car survey was a good result. The high spots were the Leaf’s acceleration, refinement, running costs and reliability. But owners disliked the design, interior quality and much of the driving experience, including the handling.

Reliability

With fewer moving parts under the bonnet than a traditional ICE car, an EV promises to be even more reliable, and evidence from owners suggests that this has proved to be true. Faults are few and far between and if the Nissan does let you down it’s likely to be as a result of a flat battery rather than a mechanical breakdown.
