New Volkswagen T-Cross Move launched

VW’s baby SUV has gained a new trim level, starting from £23,470

Volkswagen T-Cross Move

Volkswagen’s range of SUVs is nothing if not extensive. It has the new all-electric ID models along with the Taigo, T-Roc, Tiguan and Touareg. Then, sitting as the entry-point model for all of them is the Volkswagen T-Cross and at the very base of the T-Cross range we now have the new T-Cross Move.

The Move model replaces the SE as the cheapest T-Cross you can buy. At £23,470, it’s £250 more than the SE, but VW says the Move benefits from £650 worth of additional features.

On the outside there’s a fresh set of 16-inch alloy wheels - which are exclusive to the UK market. Move badges also adorn the B-pillar and door sills, plus the bumpers now have a chrome trim on them. Parking sensors are standard on the Move as well.

The interior has also received some tweaks with a revised design for the upholstery - which is now made from 100 per cent recycled material and new decorative seams for the dash. VW has also added aluminium-look pedals, two reading lights, a centre console with gloss black trim and ambient lighting.

The VW T-Cross Move is on sale now and goes up against fellow VW Group siblings like the SEAT Arona and Skoda Kamiq, although it’s more expensive than the SEAT it’s actually marginally cheaper than the Skoda.
