The Corolla GR Sport is due to reach the UK market by January 2020, with either a 1.8-litre or 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol-hybrid drivetrain on offer, producing 120bhp or 177bhp respectively. Both powertrains will be mated to a CVT automatic gearbox, allowing a 0-62mph dash of 10.9 seconds for the 1.8-litre and 7.9 seconds for the 2.0-litre.

The Corolla Trek is the result of an agreement between Toyota and bicycle manufacturer Trek, with the Japanese car firm providing a fleet of of Corolla Trek estates as support vehicles for the teams competing in the Trek-Segafredo World Tour bicycle race.

The Corolla Trek receives a 20mm increase in ride-height, front and rear skid plates, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, LED headlights, front fog lamps and an optional roof-mounted bike-rack.

Inside, the new model gets a seven-inch infotainment system, two-tone cloth upholstery and matching wood trim.

Like the GR Sport, the Trek will be available with either a 1.8-litre or 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol-hybrid mated to a CVT automatic. Deliveries are set to commence in August 2019, with UK-specific pricing being announced nearer the on sale date.
