Toyota RAV4 (New)
Overall Average Rating - 88.96%
Position in the Top 100 cars - 10th
Kicking off the top 10 is a long-standing favourite of the compact SUV market. As with virtually every Toyota which features in Driver Power, the RAV4 is one of the most reliable machines money can buy today.
The Japanese model’s dependability provides its only top 10 category finish, but crucially the 4x4 drops out of the top 50 ranking in only one area – performance.
Other ratings are consistently good across the board, proving that the RAV4 is a model that should not be overlooked among a sea of much newer competitors.

"Surprisingly cheap to run for a 4x4, comfortable and easy to drive. The build quality is excellent. My RAV4 is probably the nicest car I have ever owned.”

Manufacturer Verdict (Position - 13th)
Last year, Toyota was in seventh, but a poor debut for the Auris sees it plummet. While 13th is still above average, bosses will want a positive reaction to the new Avensis, iQ and Urban Cruiser in 2010.
