Held for the first time back in 1900, the New York International Auto Show was North America’s first ever motor show. Today, it features the largest public attendance of any show in the US, ensuring that it is worth a visit.
Held in the Jacob Javits Convention Center in the heart of Manhattan, the New York Show prides itself for showing “virtually every make and model sold in the US under one roof…”
That means plenty of new car debuts from both the home US carmakers and those from Europe and Asia, plus some more weird and wonderful creations.
The 2014 event will open to the public on 18 April and will run until 27 April. But before then, there are two press days and Auto Express is reporting live from the show floor, with all the latest news, pictures and videos.
There’s a string of new car and concept car unveils scheduled for the New York Motor Show this year, with the highlights including Land Rover’s Discovery Vision concept, the new BMW M4 Convertible and Subaru’s new Outback SUV.
