Get a head start with mini Bluetooth

Mini Bluetooth Headset

10th August 2008

Size might not be everything, but when hanging a Bluetooth headset from your ear, the smaller and lighter the better! Argard’s M11 doesn’t disappoint, as it is particularly compact.

Unfortunately, that miniature size meant it was a struggle to use, as the small buttons needed a firm, if delicate, push – which often dislodged the unit from our ear. Also, the design of the switch made it too easy to inadvertently turn the system off.

In use, background sound could be heard despite noise-cancelling technology, although it wasn’t too intrusive. Callers could hear us with the radio on and windows down, but it was not as clear as with some rivals. There was no danger of the user being affected by ambient noise, though, as the M11 plugged the earhole completely. The interchangeable buds and rotating earpiece made it easy to get comfortable, too. Overall, a decent headset – but build quality could be better and with the hard-to-interpret status light, it is not as good as some rivals.
