We bought the Zafira for it's practicality and seating capacity. On balance it probably hasn't been any worse than most other second hand cars for reliabilty, it has it's niggles, the electrics and brakes aren't great but it has been an ideal family car and the 7 seats sometimes come in very handy. We would happily buy another and would hope for better brakes on the next one.

Generally good however the front power socket located under the handbrake can be ackward and lack of a dash board tray on then top edge. Would like the rear passenger seats to split 2/1 like the seat backs as when the seats are pushed forward no room for one back seat passenger. The A frame is really large and can hinder visability. However these are minor items.

Although a people carrier it provides exciting performance that puts a smile on my face yet will carry loads that a saloon vehicle could not do. People do not expect that type of performance from this type of vehicle, great!

bought a vauxhall zafira for 4000 done 40.000 miles.
now done 120.000 miles and never let me down and never spent a penny on it.
what more could you ask for

A very versaitile car packing good space into a small footprint.
Like the upright seating position and visibility.
Good performance too.
Could do with a some more mpg but get consistently 34/35 mpg overall.

My Zafira is a SRI model I bought it for its style and performance plus it is very practical.It can carry seven people or with the seats down go to the tip!

a bit thirsty on petrol and terrible not having traction control or stability control, would not but another car without them. otherwise a brilliant car.

Good solid performer - could have more toys for the money that similar models have as standard eg - cruise control trip computer traction control

i have the gsi model so good performance the only thing is when you have all 7 seats up there is no space left for luggage and drinks fuel

Has proved very practical and reliable. Good driving position and comfort. Reasonable performance and handling for an MPV.

I've been very impressed with the Zafira B. I had a Zafira A a few years ago and the Zafira B is so much better.
