Ford Fiesta, Renaultsport Twingo Cup,Suzuki Swift Sport (Issue 1,086)

With the new Renaultsport Twingo Cup, we wanted to see how it (and the Swift Sport) would compare to a run-of-the-mill version of our favourite supermini. The Ford Fiesta is good to drive, but in base level was it able to take on our pocket rockets? After a sprint around a twisty circuit and a full road test, our love for the Ford was undiminished, but we concluded that for budget thrills, a genuine hot hatch is the only way to go.
