The rear seats are easier to get into than some 3door cars as the tilt and slide plus there is a grab handle built into the c piller. The sat nav actual becomes very easy to use with a little bit of practice which I doubt you would get when testing cars. Also I find the buttons less confusing than using these latest systems where you have a single control button and then have to navigate your way through rather than just pressing a single button to do the job. Again if you keepthe car for more than a couple of days you soon learn where they are.
Great car - my 3rd and best XC90. Only issue is the tyres in winter - the level of grip is poor in snow and have had to switch to winter tyres which are much better.
Good family car at keen price but Volvo customer service is poor. My 2011 car was delivered with cosmetic difficulties and I will have waited FIVE MONTHS for parts which is seriously unimpressive. Volvo offered £75 in vouchers as compensation on a car that cost £46k Avoid expensive models not worth extra money.
Such is the enduring appeal of this rugged SUV, Volvo has launched a whole range of XC-badged models. The original remains a remarkably talented machine, and despite being eclipsed by rivals dynamically, the updated drivetrain means it’s still a class contender. This flagship comes well equipped, too, and offers the bonus of seven seats, but the high price plus costly parts and servicing may put off some buyers.
