I think it's excellent. Power is decent, but when you rev the 2l engine it's magnificent. (I beat a Civic TypeR along a slip road a few weeks back!)
Build quality could be better, but for the price I can't really complain. Stronger boot supports would be very welcome! (Yes, it's a Mazda6!!)
Practicality is fantastic - the back seats collapse at the touch of a button.
Many friends have commented to me how good a car it is when I've given them a lift in it, and it's extremely comfortable too - why bother with BMWs, Mercedes, etc? (BTW, I prefer my 6 to my friend's 08 plate Merc E220 - no room at all in there when you're 6'4"!!)

Good looking car, lots of room, very practical and good performance-BUT the worst experience I have ever had with a car or Manufacturer. Loads of rust affecting car- most hanging panels and loads underneath. Car went in to Mazda body shop to change bonnet, rear doors and tailgate. The car went in in August and I still havn't got in back- 5 MONTHS IN THE BODY SHOP!!!!! Is this a record? Mazda are thouroughly dishonest.

does what i selected it for - need big boot for field hockey goal keeping gear. Tyres make difference to ride and noise - current goodyears not as good as original bridgestones
