Say R as Volvo joins kit parade

Design-conscious Volvo fans ‘R’ in for a treat

The Swedish maker has launched a stylish upgrade for its current Sport trim models, called R-Design.

The new option is available on the C30, S40 and V50. It brings a colour-coordinated bodykit, rear roof spoiler and a matt silver finish on the front grille and wing mirrors. Inside, changes include the addition of two-tone black and cream upholstery, plus a leather-trimmed steering wheel.

Available from October, the treatment will carry a premium of £2,000 over standard Sport models. Prices start at £16,600 for a C30 Sport R-Design.
